McSwains in Pike Co. and Monroe Co. Ga.?

Hello,
I'm trying to find some information on some McSwains, that were in Monroe, and Pike Co. Ga.

I saw where there was an Anguish McSwain listed in the 1827 Land Lottery Drawing for Monroe Co. Ga. Also, listed was a Margaret McSwain.

Then, I found in the 1830 census for Pike Co. Ga., an Angus and Peter McSwain.

I'm very interested in this family.

I have an Alexander McLeod, who was my GGGGrandfather, and he was married to a Margaret, and some feel her maiden name was McSwain.

Also, one of Alexander and Margaret's daughters, Sarah, named one of her sons Peter.

Alexander and Margaret McLeod, were also in Monroe, and Pike Co. Ga.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Becky Carden, rec@hiwaay.net
