Thank you for your reply. I actually found out my g-grandfather didn't die until 1983 here in town. No-one in my family knew he was alive except my grandmother and she never mentioned him to us, so we assumed he was deceased at a much earlier date.

The fortunate thing was I got his death certificate and obit and learned who his parents were and from his father's death certificate found his grandparents as well...

My Thomas W. McSwain's parents were William McSwain & Julia Gibbs

- Williams parents were Daniel McSwain & Frances McRae (Daniel & Frances also had a son named John) Daniel is with his parent's Ware County Georgia in 1860.

- Daniel's parents are John McSwain (From NC) & Margaret McRae from Georgia.
