MCSOURLEY
(In a railed enclosure)
Erected by John McSourley in loving memory of his brother William who died 20th March 1874 aged 25 years. Also his mother Elizabeth who died 9th January 1894 aged 103 years (sic). Also his father-in-law Patrick Mcardle who died 28th August 1895 aged 76 years. Also the above-named John McSourley who died 30th March 1901 aged 46 years. And his wife Elizabeth McSourley who died 6th April 1943 aged 80 years. On whose souls sweet Jesus have mercy.
(In the 1870's the McSourley family lived at 22 Berry Street and later John McSourley was a flesher at 52 Divis Street. The index states that Elizabeth McSourley, senior, was 69 years old and not 103.)
