According to my info you are descended from Charles David,Eldon Albertus,David Caleb,Artemus Barnard & David Mcroberts then John Mcrobert and his parents James/Mary Mcrobert from Clutagh,Kirkinner Parish,Wigtownshire,County Galloway,Scotland. James was born around 1730 in Scotland.

Yes I've always thought, and others I've talked to that we're from the Clan Robertson since Mcrobert is a sept name of that clan.I believe that the first leader of clan Robertson (robert the Bruce) was also a leader of the Clan Donnachaidh apparently the oldest clan in Scotland.Hope this helps.
