Yes, this is the same family that came to Springfield, VT, just before the Revolutionary War.Mary(McCormack) McRobert, widow of John McRobert of Wigtownshire, Galloway, Scotland, came with her three sons (William, James, and John) and five daughters (Janet, Mary or Polly, Margaret, Penelope, and Elizabeth).The son, William, married Lydia Safford, 14 April 1796, and had children: William Jr., Daniel, James, Lycurgus, Minos, Nathan, Abigail, and Elizabeth.I think several of these ended up in Michigan including Minos who apparently was a rather prominent physician.
I think your Nathan and Minos were brothers rather than father and son.
There is some fairly good documentation on some portions of the various branches of Mary (McCormack) McRoberts' family in various state and county histories.I will provide some references if you contact me directly at:
