Archibald McRobert was born 1730-36 in Scotland. Cannot find his parentage yet! He was ordained in London in March, 1761, coming to America that same year using the King's money!! He married in 1762 to Elizabeth Bland Munford, b.9/27/1733/34, d. after 1815. She was the dau. of Robert Munford and Anne Bland. Archibald died October 16, 1807, Prince Edward Co., VA. His will was probated on 12/21/1807.
They had three children:
Ebeneezer who married Mary Foster,
Elizabeth who married Samuel Carter, and
Theoderick Bland who married Agnes Woodson Morton. Agnes was the daughter of Josiah Morton and Elizabeth Venable, dau. of Abraham Venable, Jr., and Martha Davis. (I can go back farther if desired.)
Theoderick and Agnes had Elizabeth Venable McRobert who m. Daniel Sumner Baker.
I have entered the DAR on the patriotic service of Archibald McRobert.
My ggrandfather and my grandmother searched for years to find Archibald's parents without success. A cousin and I are still trying!
