I am direct descendent of Donald McRitchie (1834-1917) and Ann McLeod (1838-1917), from Englishtown, to Baddeck to Kenora. Donald & Ann were born in NS from any on-line census records I've seen. Can you tell me the name of Donald's parents and Ann McLeod's? Do you know when the family moved to ON?

Ann Bell McRitchie (1866-1943) was my great grandmother. She married Thomas C Young (1870-1957). My grandmother Vivian Young (1902-1989) was born in Kenora. I recently met descendents of Margaret Ann McRitchie (1870-?)who married J Thomas Elliott (1871-1922)Winnipeg.

Other children of Donald & Ann: Malcolm W (1861-1948 Vancouver; John (1863-1887) drowned; William (1865-1956) Vancouver; Roderick (1868-?); William Ross (1871-1899) Rat Portage; John aka Jack (1873-1953) Vancouver; Sarah Horne aka Sadie (1875-?); Mary E Guthrie (1876-?)Saskatoon; Christie Ann Dunham (1878-?); Dr Phillip (1881-1931) Mesopotamia

So are we connected to the same family? If so, let's talk via e-mail. Thanks
