Not too many McRee's; not a common name. The line I'm researching below - please respond with any information. Thanks William McRee b. 1778 N. Carolina son: Samuel M. McRee b. 1803 N. Carolina m. Mary A. (Last Name Unknown) children: Jueny (name illegilbe) J. McRee, male, b. 1831 Mississippi Rebecca J. McRee, female, b. 1833, MS Martha A. McRee, female, b. 1835 MS William H. McRee, male, b. 1837 MS, m. Louisa Jane Heard abt, 1864 in MS (Above WILLIAM is my line-I have add'l info on his descendants, etc.) Samuel W. McRee, male, b. 1838 in MS Oney Elizabeth McRee, female, b. 1846, MS Margaret E. McRee, female, b. 1848 in LA Family moved from NC, to Hinds County, MS, then on to Claiborne Parish Louisiana about 1847. Were prosperous planters in both Mississippi and Louisiana. I have information on family from Samuel M. McRee b. 1803 on down. NEED INFORMATION ON EARLIER GENERATIONS EARLIER THAN 1803, BEGINNING WITH WILLIAM McREE B. 1778 IN N. CAROLINA. Thanks.
