I am researching Malcolm McRae, born Applecross, Scotland, in 1803, and his wife, Margaret MacLennan; they were married at Applecross in 1830. Malcolm and Margaret emigrated to Prince Edward Island, Canada around 1837; Malcolm had at least one brother I am aware of, Alexander, who married Ann McDonald. Malcolm was murdered in the 1847 Belfast Riot at Prince Edward Island. I have been unable to search back any farther than Malcolm and Margaret's marriage.
If any one has a copy of the book, "History of Clan McRae", would you mind taking a look and advise whether or not there is any information about this branch of the clan? Any assistance would be most appreciated as I have been unable to find a copy of the book!
