all i know from my grandmother who is martha ann mcafee is that there were two sisters in clio or dillion south carolina named mary & martha mcrae. mary had two children, girls aileen & i think buela, before she died and left them to martha. Martha raised my grandmother. my grandma's maiden name is mcinnis & she married pete mcafee in the 1950's and then moved to north carolina. Aileen was my grandma's mother & she married a palmer. I dont know if mary & martha mcrae ever married, i dont know if aileen married a mcinnis & then a palmer or what. my grandma doesn't like to talk about south carolina because from what my great aunt pearl says martha mcrae & aileen were root workers very big in clio or dillon. if anyone has anyinfo please get at me.
