McQuillan Philadelphia

I just had a breakthrough that I'm trying to sort out. I have a Margeret (maiden unknown) who's first husband was I think a Michael McQuillan born in 1823 Ireland.. he died I believe sometime before 1860 bc she shows up married to someone else. They had 3 children, from what I make of it. Thomas (1848) Margaret (1846) and Jane (1849). Wondering if anyone out there can help me connect the dots to shore this up. The only proof I have of the Michael McQuillan is a 1850 census spelling the last name as McCollin which I was told was a common mis-spelling. Margaret's second husband was a Patrick McGovern. Their daughter Margeret married a man last named Phillips and they had my great, great grandfather John Andrew Phillips.
