My McQuillan Family orig were in scotland, wigtownshire area, then moved to antrim. I don't know how many of the family made the move. G.G.Grandfather was John McQuillan b stoneykirk 1816 m Elizabeth Davidson b1821 they had William 1838, John 1840, Jane 1841 were listed on the 1841 census for stoneykirk, wigtownshire. Then nothing more I could find. My G,grandfather William m Elizabeth Ann Gibb in Killead Belfast and they had the following children, John 1868 - 6chda, William James 1870 - nochda, David 1872 (my grandfather) - 4chda, Robert Harper 1874 - 12chda, George 1876 - 4chda, Hannah 1880 - 7chda, twins Agnes & Grace 1881 both died , Agnes 1884 don't know if she had any children. So today I must have hundreds of family in nth ireland, england, u.s.a and maybe here in Australia. My Mum and Dad came here in 1925. If anyone out there thinks they are from my line, please get in touch. I'm in touch with cousins in England, one in Antrim and one in California on the Gibb line. Marian McQuillan Hunter
