Thank you for your reply. It seems we three are working from an inherited folder of info.As I read through 40 yrs of onion skin, carbon, hand written, on site, snail mail, painstaking networked research that started with what each of the 40 plus people Dad had contact with in regards to the Mc Quigg line (1700 to 1996) I marvell at what these family members were able to pull togther, what with the information hwys not being what they are today. All the branches contributed what they could:Pictures, stories, newspaper clips, trips to grave yards by those who lived nearby, hints given of places where to look were shared, even professional genealogists were hired by some.Personal stories and pictures were added to letters exchanged so you got to know the author of the letters of the people doing the research.I know your branch comes from Robert Gilmore Mc Quigg/Elizabeth Fry but which child? Not Martin Van Buren Mc Quigg who settled in Calif. My Branch is Sarah Lucy Mc Quigg/Addison Clark b 18 Apr 1841 TN,m 31 Jan 1869, d 9 Apr 1909, interred at Thorp Spring, TX.I am not through the file yet and I am not on a computer program yet.I have put on paper 8 generations in order from most of the inherited information (1706-1942).Sources are being noted.Would like to share information and bring the family tree up to date on all lines. As far as I know I dont need copies of what my Dad sent as there seems to be a carbon and notes of what he sent. But if I find holes I will let you know and take you up on your offer..There are also letters where the family researchers discuss and challenge dates and places and names with each other using sources to back their statements and how they settle on the most logical final answers. These letters are most interesting. Will enjoy hearing from you.Beth
