I have a copy of the death certificate for Daniel W. Mcquaig b. February 1887 died March 15, 1934. According to the death certificate his parents were William M. Mcquig and Sarah Sweat. He was born in Waycross, GA. Died in Jacksonville, Florida buried in Waycross, GA. He was a section foreman for the southern Railroad.
The informant was a C. T. or J. Mcquaig from Jacksonville, FL.

his residence address was the same as my aunt, Emma Harris Mcquaig. I thought he might have been her husband but the cert. says his wife was Augusta McQuaig. Does anyone have this man in their line?

Emma Harris b. October 19, 1876, Waycross GA. She was married several times and had children R. E. Mcquaig of waycross and J P Young of Thomasville, GA. and a daughter Katheryn Evans of Gainsville, FL

Emma died in Jacksonville April 29, 1947. Her name at time of her death was EMMA FLORENCE BABBITT WILLIAMS.(NEE HARRIS)she was also buried in Waycross, GA.

Just trying to find out who Daniel was and how he fit into the family.

her daughter Katheryn McQuaig Evans was born February 13, 1905 in Georgia she died September 25, 1984 in Alachua county FL and was buried in gainsville fl at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Information was given by her son Charles G. Evans Jr. of gainsville fl.
