McPike--National Archives and Library of Congress Washington D.C.
I spent two weeks in July researching the McPike surname at the Library of Congress and the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Also, I did research on the McPike surname in July at the Family Search Library in Salt Lake City for the McPike's in Pennsylvania.
Here is an itemizied listing of the McPike information I have:

3. Hagley or Haley McPike, War of 1812--Kentucky, Service Records.
4. James McPike or McPipe, War of 1812--Tennessee, Service Records, includes a power of attorney.
5. Thomas or Thos McPike or McPake or McPecke, War of 1812--Ohio Militia, Service Records--includes a power of attorney.
6. James McPeck or McPeek or McPake, War of 1812--Pennsylvania Militia, Service Records--includes a power of attorney.
7. Jesse McPike, War of 1812--Tenessee, Application for Widow's pension, Wife--Mary Holland McPike--Linn Co., Iowa, son William--letter written by him. Certificate stating marriage dates and death dates.
8. Charles McPike, War of 1812--Pennsylvania, Service Records.
9. Richard McPike, War of 1812--Ohio, Oath of Allegiance by Richard McPike, Survivors Pension Records, lists a George T. McPike--Oath of Allegiance, wife--Maria Larue McPike d. May 24, 1847, son--James McPike, a Mexican War soldier, five surviving children including George T. McPike, James McPike, Caroline V. Webb, Peter W. A. McPike, Celia McPike and Louisa V. Wilkinson. Brother--John McPike--affadavit for his brother's claim for bounty land. Additional records were in the file but not all copied.

12. James McPike, Revolutionary War--Pennsylvania, Service Records.

John or Jno McPike or McPicke or McPickle, Revolutionary War--Pennsylvania, Service Records and Pension Record dated March 1834 Adams County, Ohio plus a detailed 6 page letter by John McPike describing his military history in exact details. (very interesting reading). Letters testifying on his behalf are also included.
14. Roger McPike or McPicke, Revolutionary War--Virginia
Copy of Index Cards.
The Revolutionary War records were the only records on Microfilm. The Civil War, War of 1812, Spanish American War Records were the original records. It is quite impressive reading the original papers and the condition of some of the papers makes it very difficult to read especially when you copy them. All of the files I copied are complete except for Richard McPike War of 1812 but I did try and copy the pages with any family information on them.
At the National Archives I copied all of the original information they had about the McPike family. Here is a listing of what I copied:
