McPheeters of 177 According to the Filson Club Historical Society, Alexander Sr. moved to Bourbon Co., Kentucky from Virginia. His son Alexander Jr. married Polly McKinney, daughter of John "Wildcat" and Mary (Trimble) McKinney, and another son, Hugh married Martha "Patsy" McKinney, also daughter of John and Mary McKinney.
