Am looking for my ggrandfather Alex McPhail-immigrated to S Dakota in 1883 from Canada. Have hit a brick wall except that when he died in 1922 in Missouri, his obit listed two sisters in Canada, Kate Miller and Mary McDonald.
Alex was born 1854 or 1857...do you have an Alex anywhere in the McPhail history with these sisters?
Any help appreciated...I do know that Alex's father was born in Scotland, from what his daughter-in-law told me.
