McPeak Origins & Rhode Island McPeaks
The following is a reply to a query received from someone searching for Rhode Island McPeaks and McPeak origins in Ireland.
George
"From what I have read, the McPeaks settled in Londonderry, Tyrone and Antrim Counties in Northern Ireland. An early map of the area in 1621 shows "BallyMacPeake" as part of the Vintners lands in Southeast Londonderry County. It is still there as a place name.I have attached a copy of the 1621 map as well as a modern one.
My line came to Canada after 1825 and before 1840.They were poor, illiterate, unpropertied Catholics, They settled in the Bay City, MI area about 1890 and have been in the area since.
I don't know about your Rhode Island McPeaks. You might look in the archives at:

for contacts or info.
Good luck in your searches.
