Just came across your message and noted the address reference to Islay. My grandfathers name was Donald McNiven and he was born Sept. 16th, 1872 in Bowmore, Is of Islay. It would be interesting if there was any connection. We are from British Columbia, Canada and we are planning a trip to Scotland in June this year, thats why I'm checking on genealogy. Your reply would be appreciated.
