Hello Deborah,
I am looking for information on the family and siblings of Alexander McNevin (McNiven) He was born in 1807 in Bowmore, Isle of Islay. His father was Alexander or Archibald McNevin and mother Jane/Jean Vise McIntyre.
He had several siblings John, Duncan, William, Archie, Mary, "Margaret", Christena and Jane. I am wondering if your Margaret could have been his sister. Her birth and his, and area of birth would match.
