Sorry, I dont have any Joseph McNinch at all in my database. The year could br right for an older brother to my William, Jr, but I have no other family members.Just William, Sr, William, Jr and Hannah Pickles McNinch. As I stated in my perevious post, L.L. Doty "Histoy of Livingston County, New York" states on page 514 that amoung the early settlers of Conesus was "John, James, Samuel and Matthew McNinch."No dates of arrival in Conesus are given for any but James who, it says on page 516, "came to Conesus in 1807, and settled on lot 111."If he were not the first McNinch to settle in Conesus, some of the others may have been there early enough to have had a son in 1804.Joseph would certainly fit in with names like John, James, Samuel and Matthew.no further geneological information is given in the book, just a couple of anecdotes regarding deal with wolves in early New York.
I'm not surre at all whether or how these McNinch's are related to thre Williams McNinch. If you have any further information on any of these McNinches I'd be pleased if you would post it or drop me an e-mail ([email protected]).Thanks and good hunting.
