Hello,
I am wondering if anyone knows anything about a Robert McNeill born Abt. 1798 (or 1797) in Scotland. He came to Nova Scotia... although I don't know what year. He married Mary Crowe in 1821. She was the d/o Thomas Crowe, Sr. and Sarah Barnhill. Mary was born April 1792. She had a twin sister Letitia Crowe. I am very interested in finding where Robert McNeill was from in Scotland and what time he came over to Nova Scotia. Robert McNeill and Mary Crowe had 4 sons and 2 daughters.

It would be great if anyone had information to share on Robert McNeill, Sr. origins in Scotland. Also spelling variations include: McNeil, MacNeil, MacNeill, McNeill, McNeal etc.
