Because you have such a wealth of McNeill family information, I wonder if you know of my husband's great grandfather, Malcom Jordan McNeill b. abt. 1832 in Tennessee. He claimed his father was born in Scotland and his mother in North Carolina. Malcom married Mary Francis Kincaid, d/o Landon Kincaid. They named their first son, Robert Lee McNeill, but they were in their 30's, and maybe had been married previously. Besides Robert Lee McNeill, the other children were Ida Lou, Landon Houston, Sally, John Wesley, Jacob Samuel, and David Edward. Robert Lee McNeill named his children Fredie Oliver, Claudie W, Maudie Mae, Finas Clarence, Vollie Lee, Fannie Thelma, Clyde Houston, Midas Jubie, Gladys Jewel, Gracie Cordie, Annie Fay, and Opal Dee. The YDNA project links my husband with Leonard Lansdale McNeill, Dr. Richard Greene McNeill Jr, and Thomas Boyd McNeill, among others. I would be very grateful to know of any information you might have about this line. Thank you.
