At last I've found my William Anderson Roberts' brother, Tom. He was Thomas McNeil Roberts. Will was born 1874; Tom 1876 in Texas. Other than his name, nothing is known about their father, S.M. Roberts, born prob. abt 1840-45 TX/AL/GA?. His wife was Adaline Henderson of (Jasper Co.) GA. They died, leaving Tom & Will orphaned & sent to live with their uncle, Joseph S. Henderson, in Titus Co., TX by 1880. Will & Tom's middle names of Anderson & McNeil point to family surnames. I don't remember those surnames appearing in the Henderson materials I have, so I am surmising they came from the Roberts side of the family. Question is: from how back in the Roberts line, and attached from which direction? S.M. Roberts' father's side of the family, or his mother's?
Looking for any connections of Anderson & McNeil families to a Roberts family.
