Hello Mr MacNeil, Thank you for your reply to my message sorry it has taken me a few days to get back to you. I too believe this to be Michaels Family that Im trying to research, but yet I find a few tings to question. On Micheals death certificate it shows his sister Florence sigining the death certificate as well applying for a birth certificate (perhaps this was needed in order to get the death certificate) On the birth certificate it is hard to read mother's last name could be MacIntryer or MacKinnon. but looks more like mcIntryer. Than when I researched in to the cencus further I also found a Micheal McNeil living with a Patrick and Mary MacIssac with Catherine MacKinnon listed as mother living in the same house perhaps his grandmother? On Michaels marriage certificate it says Mackinnon as mother. I am in the process of trying to find out oral history but has been difficult as there is only on of Michaels siblings still living and Im unsure on the information that could be available but im trying. It shows mother Cahterine MacIntryer living on the 1909 cencus but not on the 1911. Could it be possible Micheal moved in with other family members in the time that the cencus were being taken and recorded in two different places? I also question if perhaps the mother(Catherine MacIntyer could have died at child birth as I cant seam to find anything on her last sibling past the 1911 cencus. I hope this all makes sence to you I have the actual pages and docouments page numbers etc I could aswell include from my research. I have researched on the vital site/ cencus/ cemeteries and the Cape Breton sites. I will say this family has been the most challenging for me.But I love solving challanges. Any information you could help me with would be greatly appreciated. Have A Great Day Sherylanne Notify Administrator about this message?
