This is a possible family from the Barra church records to be that of your John. This could be incorrect. You might want to consider participation in the MacNeil DNA project at Family Tree DNA since you are a MacNeil and would therefore have MacNeil paternal Y-DNA. We have a large number of MacNeils with roots in Barra for you to compare with.
