Looking for parents of John A. born in La. ab 1860 father born S.C. mother born Miss. Family lore says one of seven bros was orphaned during Civil War. Know two bros names Tom and Jim. Had a sister named Nancy. Lore also says there was a French connection. Mother or grandmother may have been Lucinda and a LaGrande has been mentioned. He moved to Indian territory late 1800s and raised a family of seven children. Names Simmie, Minnie, Effie, Johnnie, Elmer, and Margaret. His wife was Nora Maggie Milam. Thanks
