McNeel, Rutgers University Class of 1864 by Larry Hock of 29 Larry, He was a CSA soldier perhaps from Texas. There is a possibility he was Pleasant Duke McNeel from Brazoria County, Texas. His father was possibly Leander H. McNeel or John Greenville McNeel both of whom were sons of John McNeel.
