Larry, He was a CSA soldier perhaps from Texas. There is a possibility he was Pleasant Duke McNeel from Brazoria County, Texas. His father was possibly Leander H. McNeel or John Greenville McNeel both of whom were sons of John McNeel. I cannot find him in the CW rosters so I cannot say which regiment he might have served with. Bob
