I am looking for info on the McNee family of Perthshire. I found some information in the IGI about a John McNee, born about 1758 at Rednock castle, Perthshire, Scotland. He had a son, Peter McNee, born around 1785, who married a Margaret Drummond. Peter's children ended up in Rock county, Wisconsin and Fillmore county, Minnesota. I am not sure if Peter came with them to America. Any sources that could help me confirm what I have found in IGI records would be appreciated.
