Have you checked the Nova Scotia Historical Vital Statistics (https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/) site for your Alexander McNeil (the name is usually spelled McNeil in NS)? There is one Alexander McNeil b. 1891 in Millville Boularderie, Cape Breton County.

You might also be able to search for Albina/Delvina Gileau/Gillo.
