Anyone here have McNeal relatives who lived in Oregon? I am searching for information on one Sarah Estelle McNeal born 1887 in Centerville, Humboldt Co, California, died 1923 in Turner, Marion Co, Oregon. Her parents were Herbert Willard McNeal(1854-1938) and Lucretia Emerson McNeal(1858-1943). They lived in Oregon. I believe that Estelle might have been an actress at one time, I have several articles on her dated from the years 1914-1922. She worked on the stage, primarily off-Broadway and as far as I know she never made any silent films.
Not sure whether she was ever married and had any children as I haven't been able to find much about her outside of the few newspaper articles I found online. There are also several photos of her online, one is on a piece of sheet music dated 1914. However her surname was mispelled on the piece of sheet music. Her name is written as "Estelle McMeal"!
