Am searching David McNamara. He was born in Clare I in 1770. He emmigrated to the Boston area in the 1790's.There was apparently family there. He made his way to Guysborough County, Nove Scotia where he married Sara Hall about 1792. After living in the Halifax, N.S. area he moved to Cape Breton Island to what was formerly Isle Boucher, now known as McNamara's Island. The biggest mystery now is where in Clare did he come from?Is there still family connections in Boston? Who were his parents?
