I have a copy of an obituary for Nancy McNaron Smith. It says the following:

Mrs. Nancy Smith

Mrs. Nancy Smith died at the home of her son, Ernest C. Smith at Ensley on March 28th. Mrs. Smith was 73 years of age and was reared in Dekalb County. She was a daughter of Richmond McNaron and the widow of the late W. C. Smith who died at Albertville about six year ago. (It says "year" not "years.")

Mrs. Smith, so far as was known, was in her usual state of health up to the very moment of her death, which was caused by heart failure.

She leaves four sons, Walter, of this place, S. C. of Crossville, Ernest and Will of Edgewater, Ala. and Mrs. W. W. McNaron of Georgetown, S.C. She had two children, a son and a daughter dead.

She had been a member of the church since she was fifteen and was a member of the Collinsville M. E. Church, at the time of her death.

The remains were brought to Collinsville and were laid to rest in the Smith Cemetery in Big Wills valley.
