I am looking for information on Nancy McNair b. 1818 m. William P Scott. Her obit says she was from Gadsden, AL but I believe her to be born in TN. I believe she is the daughter of James McNair and Rebecca Walker his 2nd wife. She appears in a law suit against John McNair, which I believe to be her half brother. I could be wrong. Nancy's obit says her grandfather,Walker, was a post master "in that area" which may be Gadsden. I'm not sure of the dates and facts. Any help appreciated.
