Is this a McNab Knot?

For any of you who know what you are looking at...

For about five years now, I have been wearing this peice of jewlrey on my lapel because I find it beautiful. It was a peice I found in my mother's jewlry box after her death. It is quite old, probably a few generations. I have reason to believe that it is a McNab knot, as I heard it described once as "an upside down pretzel". I am waiting on someone to tell me "YES, THIS IS A MCNAB KNOT" or "NO IT IS NOT." Verification of yes, would mean that this peice is over 300 years old, as my Gilfillan line of the clan McNab has been in the United States since the 1780's.

Please, if you know anything about the McNab Knot, go to this website:
and let me know what you think.
