You are on the wrong forum. Most folks on the McNab forum are seeking Clan members from Canada, Australia or Scotland. The McNabbs you seek are mostly descended from Old James the Redemptioner. I descend from David McNabb Jr. There are several folks trying to figure out the W. in the other David's name. Since you have found that Kitty was also bn in TN this would indicate David W. was also of the TN McNabbs. The N. AL McNabbs almost assuredly came from TN to obtain land grants. They were the only McNabbs generally in the South until abt 1860 when we had one small McNabb family migrate from Scotland, named his children the same as the McNabbs in the area and blended in with the rest of the Clan.
