I have John McMurray, b. cir 1781, d. cir 1850, son of William McMurray and Margaret ???. My info shows he married Margaret Smith in Rutherford Co. NC on 26 May 1811. Margaret was the daughter of Nathaniel Smith and Jenny ???. I have her dob as cir 1787, but have nothing further on her. I have connected 7 children including Bartlett Yancey McMurray, b. 21 Sep 1829, d. 4 Oct 1907. He married 1st)Delsa Nelson & 2nd)Mary Haynes and resided in Cleveland Co. NC. I would be glad to share info on this family and see if there is a connection.
