I had seen the 1850 census but wasn't sure because of the location. However, I looked at the map and found it was in the county that was adjacent to where it was reported that they lived (Bedford), so it is probably the right folks. I didn't have the 1860 info. Thanks for that. As for the info on Samuel Jordan, if you are interested, you can find what I have on him at both rootsweb and ancestry. Again, thanks a lot.
