I may be able to help if you can give a little more information--dates, locations, etc.

There were, to my knowledge, three groups of McMunns in North America in the 1700s. One group settled in New Hampshire, another in Orange Co., NY, another--from which I descend--first to Cecil Co., MD and then to Allegheny Co., PA. The latter group originated in Cos. Donegal and Antrim, Ireland. Other McMunns came directly from Northern Ireland/Scotland to Canada and the U.S. in the mid-1800s.
