You did not mention the dates of birth for your McMullan members or where they were born. This would help with identifying your McMullan line. As far as McMullans in Texas, the ones I am kin to came to Texas soon after the Civil War. They settled in Navarro County near Corsicana TX.
There is a lot of info in the library there along with info on McMullans at the historical museum. David Thomas McMullan followed his uncle Mark Jackson McMullan there.
Mark Jackson married a woman with the last name of Hervey.
