Does the name Arthur McMorrow mean anything to you?
I ask because he was one of the Pall Bearers at my grandfathers funeral.
My grandfather was Patrick Bradley born in Carndonagh County Donegal Irealnd on May 10 1864, he married Mary Ann ODonnell dob July 28, 1873 also in Carndonagh, on Apri 17, 1902 at St Peter's in Dorchester Ma. He and Mary Ann had several children(all now deceased)Susan,Helen,Margaret,Mary, Jim and Theresa.
Patrick died on either Marh 14, or 17th 1931 at home in Salem Ma.(Mary Ann died Nov 20 1958 also in Salem Ma)
Arthur McMarrow was one of the 6 Pall Bearers at his funeral, so at very least he was a good friend of Patrick and or Mary's.
The other Pall beares for what ist worth were:
Seymour Watts, John and Michael O'Donnell, Albert McNulty, and John Lynch. John Lynch may have been my aunts husband or husband to be, but I am not sure of the others. Even the O'Donnell's Im not sure of connection even though I am sure there is one to Mary.
Patrick's parents were Bernard Bradley and Mary McGeoghan
Mary Ann's parents were James O'Donnell and Susan White Doherty.
Sorry about this lengthly post, but one never knows what will turn up does one? Good luck with your search.
Where are you located. I grew up in Reading Ma.
