Thirty three year old Chris Carson who lives in Melbourne, Australia is a descendant of the McMillin Family, originally from Corofin, County Clare, Ireland. Chris has acute leukemia and urgently requires a stem cell match, or part stem cell match from a family member. While undergoing intense chemotherapy, his doctors, family and friends have approximately 2 - 6 months to find a suitable match. As it is more likely that a match or part match be found amongst his relations, we are doing a world wide search for Chris's extended family. Stem cell donation is now a much more straight forward and pain free excercise, and it will be the only chance Chris has to survive.
