Oh, thank you, this is very interesting information. But ... does your database tell what the proof is that Jane, wife of William Moody, is the daughter of this Daniel McMillin? Is it a will, or a Bible record, or what? This is what I would REALLY like to know.
I know, of course, that Jane and William had a daughter named Eleanor Keenan Moody. But that doesn't constitute proof of Jane's parents. I also know that Jerry Black McMillin (brother of Benton McMillin, a governor of Tennessee) was a relative of the Moodys. He and Sarah Jane Moody Wimberly, daughter of John W. Moody (son of Jane and William), told their children they were related ... but the children either did not know or did not remember what the exact relationship was.
