Dan Scott McMillin (1914-1982) was the son of my mother's sister. My mother was Virginia Longley Lawrence (1896-1984) and her sister was Hope Longley McMillin Whyte (1890?-1964?). All of these relatives are now deceased. I am desperately trying to locate the offspriing of Dan and his wife, Dorothy"Hoppy" Dean who died in 2002. The children are Susan Koehler? last known address in the Washington DC area, Dan Scott"Scotty" McMillin Jr. graduate of VMI, 1969, Gary and Bruce. They are in their late 40's to 50's. As their father was a military man, Army Cavalry, they lived all over the world. I have numerous memorabilia of their father's such as his diploma from Highland Park High School , Dallas Texas, 1931 and VMI, 1935?. I need to send these to Dan's children. I am 1of 3 remaining first cousins of a once large group of grandchildren of Edmund Longley and Mary Lee Harris Longley. Dan's father was Maurice McMillin of Whiteright, Texas but there are none of this family to help me. Maurice and Hope divorced soon after Dan and his brother, Selden Longley McMillin were born.Dan and Selden were born in Texas as were some of Dan's children. Dan died in Kansas and Dorothy in Arizona.
