I am looking for any information AT ALL on the following folks: Bennett, Marshall or Wren McMillan. They had another brother named Bill (William?) and at least two sisters named Sarah Jane & Elizabeth. I don't know exactly how they spelled their last name. They probably used any or all variations. I believe they were all born around the 1830's & 1840's in AL. The family later moved to MS--probably around the Holmes/Madison/Attala County area. I believe their father's name was Matthew. Their mother may have been Dianna or Alfis? Wren.
Bennett married Adeline Hanna bef. 1860. In 1860 I think they were in the Sunflower Co., MS area. Bennett probably died before 1880. And I believe I found Adeline on the 1880 Arkansas Co., AR census.
LDS has Marshall born 06/06/1835 and died 10/27/1886 but no other information.
Wren married (1st)Julianna Sherrard in Dec. 1848. They had a daughter named Rachel. Julianna died and Wren remarried.
Sarah Jane was born about 1834. She married William Austin Hanna (father of Adeline above) around 1851. They had 9 children together. She died in the early 1880's.
Elizabeth married Stephen Evans Hanna (son of William A. above). This was her second marriage, her first was to John Philemon Holley. She had two children by John Holley and 4 children by Stephen Hanna.
I have no info at all on Bill/William? McMillan.
I descend from one of the children of Sarah Jane and William A. Hanna. I would love to get enough info to follow the McMillan line back a couple more generations. Any help would really be appreciated!
