I have an Edward McMillan in my line. Gggfather who parents were James and Ann Reeves McMillan (both born in
Belfast, Ireland. James abt 1786 d. May 1821 in Charleston, SC and Ann Reeves b. abt 1790 d. 10-15-1857 in Brazos Cty Tx. buried in Dunn's Fort Cenetery, Robertson
Cty, Texas. Edward fought in the Battle of San Jacinto
according to History of Robertson County, Texas by J.W. Baker. He received a grant of land (some of which was
deeded to city of Franklin, Texas.) Edward had two sisters,
Mary and Elizabeth and three brothers, Andrew, James & George. Hope this helps. Gwen
