McMillen -McMillan - McMillin

I have McMillens who in the census are recorded as McMillen-McMillan-McMillin.

They are William J. McMillen and Margaret Smith. They both originated in Northern Ireland. They start out in the 1910 census with William being age 33 and immigrating in 1883.
Margaret is then 29 with an immigration year of 1893.

Then going to the 1920 census William is 49 years old with immigration year of 1888. Margaret is suddenly 51 with an
immigration year of 1893.

If that isn't enough confusion I go to the 1930 census to
find that William is now 58 and poor Margaret is now 61.
Now I know that to have 14 children can age a woman but
this is ridiculous. Further complication there are 14 children two who died young but to date I can only find 8 children. Who incidentally jump in and out of the family in the census.
The found children are;
William J Jr. 23 in 1920
Mary M. 19 in 1920
Benjamin 19 in 1920 Not a twin that I know
Thomas Campbell 15 in 1920
Samuel Dempster 14 in 1920
Eliza M. 11 in 1920
Rosetta 7 in 1920
Archibald does not show up in 1920
but was 11 in 1910

So wondering if there were older children who stayed in Ireland.

Anyone related to any of these. It appears they pretty much remained in Pittsburgh Pa from 1910 through 1930.
Confused in Arizona
