Would like to find out any information on my 3G grandfathers's wife and her family. I have been stuck on her for some time and am posting this in hopes of connecting with some McMichael researchers that might have more information and be able to help. Her name was Sina McMichael and her husband was James Harvey Edwards. He was born circa 1797 in North Carolina and died around 1847 in Pike County, Alabama. His wife Sina was born circa 1800 in Georgia, married abt. 1818 in Georgia and do not know when she died or where she was buried. I have seen their (Sina's and James Harvey's) family bible and have the following names listed in it. This bible was published sometime in the 1830's. James Harvey Edwards, Sina McMichael,Loveless Smith, Sarahann Edwards,Prushea Ann Edwards, William Franklin Harper Edwards, John Thomas Edwards, James Harvey Edwards Jr., Hiram Jackson Lafayette Edwards, Martha E. Edwards, Hiram M. Edwards, Henry J. Edwards, William McMichael, Elizabeth May, Anny Jane McMichael. If any of you have possible connections with any of these I would like to hear from you. I know where Sina's husband James Harvey Edwards is buried but have not been able so far to find out anything on Sinai and her family. I feel like they were from Georgia but do not know for sure. Thanks.
