My grandfather Arthur Littley and his brother Albert Littley made an around the world trip about 1911 or 1912. It was supposedly a business trip. (Their father was a Wool, Skin and Hides Merchant and my grandfather was mainly a Wine Merchant.) They travelled from Australia back to Devon (where their parent's family migrated from) via Colombo and Durban. Their return trip took them to Dayton Ohio and the National Cash Register Company there. Apparently, they had either a very close friend or family member there who was managing NCR. My father, before he passed away, was adamant that it was a member of the McMichan family who they went to see in Dayton. I was wondering whether anyone had any information about a McMichan who might have been involved with NCR in Dayton Ohio at this time?
