mark, i would be interested in corresponding with you concerning your mcmath genealogy. in response to your question concerning a jesse mcmath from kansas, the only one listed in the social security death index was married and lived in sumner kansas - where his parents also died. who were the parents of your jesse mcmath?

also, you mentioned that you were a relative of ginger rogers but didn't mention which of james gibbons' brothers was your ggrandfather. i do not have you in my database and would like to add you and your lineage into the mcmath descendency chart that i am working on.

I have used the information originally posted by A David Distler as the basis for my research. any additions or corrections that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

dave had your ancestor, james (married to almira lawrence), as being the son of james (married to hannah keller) - brother to william and son of daniel, born in scotland in 1715. he had no information on william beyond his name. if you could clarify that issue, it would be a great help to me.
thank you, in advance, for anything you can share.
karen
